My Inspiration
As a kid, you may have read the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Disney’s movie, Alice in Wonderland, is based on the book. There is a telling lesson as Alice strolls through the garden and encounters a fork in the road. Alice sees the Cheshire cat up in a tree, looking down at her. Alice sees an opportunity for guidance which goes like this:
- “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
- “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the cat.
- “I don’t much care where,” said Alice.
- “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the cat.
As a leader, you need to know where you want to go. Both as a person and for your team. Teams expect a leader to set vision, establish goals, and inspire them to get there. Having clarity of where you and your team are going will help maximize your potential as a leader.
To be a successful leader, you need to be a person that your team wants to follow. What makes your team want to follow you? If you want to improve your leadership, increase your followership, and find passion in your life and purpose, I can help you get there.
